AEO Readiness Score

Is your product page ready to be recommended by AI?

Paste a product page URL. You get a score out of 100 for how easily ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Claude can find, understand and trust the page, plus the specific fixes that move it.

Site blocks our crawler? Paste the page source instead

Open the product page, choose View Source (Ctrl+U on Windows, Cmd+Option+U on Mac), select all, copy, and paste it here. Use View Source rather than the developer-tools Elements panel so we see what crawlers see.

We still check robots.txt live. HTTP headers and JavaScript dependence can't be checked from pasted source, so confidence is lower.

Free. Takes 10 to 60 seconds. We fetch the page once with a declared audit crawler.

What the score means

A score of 78 means the page earned 78 of 100 points on measurable readiness factors. Every point links to the evidence behind it. It is not a probability of being recommended. How we score

What it can't see

AI engines also weigh reviews and articles on other sites, merchant feeds, price and the shopper's location. The optional visibility probe asks real AI engines buyer questions to show what they actually say.

Questions

What is AEO?

Answer engine optimization: making your pages easy for AI assistants and AI search to find, understand and cite. When a shopper asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for the best product for their need, those engines fetch pages, read them and pick what to recommend. AEO is about being one of the pages they can use.

Is it free?

Yes, running an audit is free. There's a limit of 30 audits per hour per person to keep it fair.

What happens to the page I audit?

We fetch it once with a declared crawler, keep a copy and a screenshot for 30 days, and send the product text to an AI model to grade the copy. The report gets a link anyone with it can open. Details in the privacy policy.

Why couldn't my page be scored?

Usually bot protection (Cloudflare, Akamai and similar) stopped our request. We don't give a score when we can't see the page, so you aren't penalized for that. Paste the page source into the form instead, or allowlist our crawler.

Does a high score guarantee AI engines will recommend my product?

No. The score covers what's on the page. Engines also weigh reviews and articles on other sites, merchant feeds, price, shipping and the shopper's location.

How is the score calculated?

From 32 checks in six weighted categories, with hard caps for problems like blocking AI crawlers. See how we score.
